The tablets may be taken with or without food and follow doctor’s advice very carefully. If you vomit within 30 minutes after taking this medicine, take the same amount of medicine again. However, if vomiting continues, inform your doctor immediately.

Dosage

The first dose of Emset tablet is taken in a healthcare center 30 minutes before chemotherapy is begun. The second and the third dose are taken 4 hours and 8 hours after the first dose.

Interactions

If you are using Dilantin, Luminal, tramadol, Mycobutin, rifampin, or HIV medicines, you may not be able to use Zofran injection, or may need dosage adjustments or special tests during treatment.
