Usage Information
It can be swallowed with or without food. Contramal cuts down on the pain perception in the brain and reduces the pain signals that are sent along the nerves.

Interactions
Large doses of Contramal administered with alcohol or anesthetic agents can impair breathing. Contramal can increase the risk of seizure in epileptic patients, especially with simultaneous use of tricyclic antidepressants, such as Elavil.
